Unless noted otherwise in an event description, programs at the Gillette Sand Dune Visitor Center and the campgrounds are free.

 

Programs held in the campground are for registered campers only.

 

A Recreation Passport is required for entry into the state park. Your Recreation Passport purchase is one significant way in which you can support the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Michigan State Parks. When you purchase a Recreation Passport at the time of your license plate renewal, it provides you access to over 90 state parks for one year, and is an act of stewardship that says you are proud to be a part of Michigan's natural resource legacy.
